The hands are gears in a way so, so the GMT hand turns at half the speed the main hour hand does. I did the same as the OP, wasn't going grey, so tried on the Tudor GMT with bracelet and with leather strap, went with the strap and then got an aftermarket Uncle Seiko jubilee bracelet. Totally delighted with this Tudor at thousands less than the Rollie and I don't even 'crave' the Rollie anymore.
